Sunday, 14 November 2004

DENVER - Clear Reach Networks recently has completed the acquisition of Denver-based Qadas Online, an Internet service provider for more than 600 dial-up, DSL, and dedicated customers in the metro area.

Clear Reach Networks was founded in 2002 by Kevin Mercado and Justin Nelson to offer broadband Internet to small towns in northern Colorado. The acquisition of Qadas has allowed Clear Reach Networks to expand its services to customers in the 303, 720 and 970 area codes.

"We are confident our new customers will benefit greatly from our quality, reliable Internet service, not to mention our top- notch customer service," said Kevin Mercado, Clear Reach Networks chief executive officer.

"Acquiring Qadas Online's customer-base has opened many doors to us. We've grown substantially and we now offer some new, exciting services," added Justin Nelson, chief technology officer of Clear Reach Networks.

After moving its office to a world-class data center in downtown Denver, Clear Reach Networks was able to combine their existing system and that of Qadas Onlines to create an extensive network. Other Dash services now include data hosting and voice over the Internet (VoIP) that target small businesses.

Former Qadas Online customers will experience no changes to their current plans, however, Clear Reach Networks will extended special rates for those looking to upgrade.
