Clear Reach provides backbone to Thin Air Technologies
Sunday, 21 August 2005

DENVER - Granby, Colo.-based Thin Air Technologies has teamed up with Clear Reach Networks, one of Metro Denver’s most price competitive voice and data providers, to offer broadband Internet to customers in Grand County.

Thin Air Technologies has been offering Internet services to the area for more than two years. In order to provide the most reliable Internet service, Thin Air called upon Clear Reach to deliver a meshed backbone architecture. The partnership allows Thin Air to provide superior wireless service to more than 400 businesses and residents in Granby, Winter Park and Frasier.

“We’ve been very impressed with Thin Air Technologies’ business plan,” said Clear Reach CTO Justin Nelson. “Their rapid growth is a testament to their service and focus on extending the reach of broadband. It’s great to be able to help such a progressive and innovative company deliver its services.”

The solution provided by Clear Reach allows Thin Air Technologies to offer low-cost broadband Internet to remote mountain communities that otherwise would have to rely on slow speed dial-up or more expensive satellite for high-speed access.

Clear Reach has an extensive data network that allows smaller Internet service providers, such as Thin Air Technologies, to build their own reliable networks with low initial invest and long term growth flexibility.

Clear Reach is based in a world-class data center in downtown Denver. It offers voice and data services to customers along Colorado’s Front Range.
